To earn Roaming Rewards on your direct hotel bookings, you must use our Wayfare Booking ID in the designated field on the hotel’s official website or app. Our Scribe Booking Guides (for logged-in members) show you exactly where to find this field for each major hotel partner.

Our step-by-step Scribe Booking Guides are an exclusive benefit for registered Wayfare Travel members. Log in to access these guides, which detail how to use our Wayfare Booking ID and list the specific Hotel Brands covered under each major hotel group.
Booking Channel Recommendation (Desktop vs. App)
For the most reliable reward tracking with some hotel partners, using their desktop website to make your booking (and enter our Wayfare Booking ID) is often recommended. Some hotel mobile apps may not always display the necessary field. Our Scribe Guides will specify the best method for each hotel chain.
Understanding Your Roaming Reward Calculation
The Roaming Reward percentages shown are estimates. Your final cash back is 50-90% of the net commission Wayfare Travel actually receives from the hotel partner for your completed, eligible stay. This is typically based on the pre-tax room rate and excludes incidentals (food, spa, etc.). Stays booked entirely with hotel points or free night certificates generally do not qualify for Wayfare Roaming Rewards. (See our FAQs for more details).

For the easiest reward matching, please ensure the Full Name and Email Address on your Wayfare Travel account match those you use when making your direct hotel bookings. This helps us credit your Roaming Rewards promptly.

How do I confirm if a specific hotel brand (e.g., Waldorf Astoria) is covered by a major hotel group (e.g., Hilton) for Roaming Rewards?
To see which specific hotel brands (like Waldorf Astoria under Hilton, or The Ritz-Carlton under Marriott) are covered, simply find the main hotel group (e.g., Hilton) on this page and expand its details. You’ll see a comprehensive list of their participating brands where our Wayfare Booking ID applies. This information is also detailed in the Scribe guides for logged-in members.
What if I forget to use the Wayfare Booking ID when booking my hotel?
Unfortunately, if our Wayfare Booking ID isn’t entered correctly into the designated field on the hotel’s booking site (as shown in our Scribe guides), the booking won’t be recognized as a Wayfare-facilitated stay. This means we likely won’t receive a commission from the hotel, and therefore, no Roaming Reward can be paid for that booking. It’s very important to use the ID every time you book with our direct hotel partners!
Are the Roaming Reward rates shown on the Partners page guaranteed?
We provide estimated Roaming Reward rates to give you a good idea of potential savings with our hotel partners. However, these are based on standard hotel commissions which can sometimes vary. Your final Roaming Reward is always 50-90% of the actual commission Wayfare Travel receives from the hotel partner for your specific, completed, and eligible stay.
